Some of us seem to have adopted a rather bad attitude about prayer.  We hack away at God, hoping he will begrudgingly give into our wishes; that he will only follow through if we beg, plead and whine.  In reality, God takes much pleasure in giving us gifts. It’s just that God has a better idea of the gifts that we need, rather than the gifts that we want.
